Printer-friendly versionPrinter-friendly version

Brisbane's 50th Anniversary Celebration is just around the corner!  We hope you're planning to attend this very anticipated event, as live entertainment, dancing, a buffet dinner, champagne toast, and photobooth fun await you!  And did we mention, there is no entry fee!  The event is free.  The only reason to carry a little cash on you would be for the no host bar.

This Saturday's (9/10) celebration at the Radisson Hotel in Brisbane begins at 6:30pm.  Here's a snapshot of the evening:

6:30 pm    Buffet Dinner and No Host Bar

7:30pm     Welcome and Introductions by Mayor Cyril G. Bologoff
                   Presentations
                   Champagne Toast

8:00pm     Live Performance by Leanne Borghesi and Dancing to the music of Sound Productions

San Francisco Photobooth will be on-site throughout the evening to provide memories for you to take home and also to help create an album to commemorate the City's 50th Anniversary.

Please note, additional parking will be available at 2000 Sierra Point Parkway.  Look for the parking signs that will be located near the intersection of Sierra Point Parkway and Marina Blvd., as shown in the photo below:

Lastly, a shuttle will run every 30 minutes beginning at 8:00pm to return residents to Brisbane (drop-off's will be at City Hall and the Sunrise Room).  If you are a senior resident or disabled, and unable to get to the Radisson on your own, call Russ at 508-2143 to arrange a pick-up in advance.

Now, get ready to celebrate Brisbane!
