SMC Alert - San Mateo County's Community Alert System is an alert notification system used to immediately contact you during urgent or emergency situations with useful information and updates by sending text messages to your email, cell phone, pagers, and/or smartphone/handheld devise. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention - The Dept. of Health and Human Services compiled this site, filled with information regarding natural disasters and severe weather.  The site is also available in seven different foreign languages.
