Public Transportation

The City of Brisbane encourages the use of public transportation and leaving single-occupancy-vehicles at home.

Free Commuter Shuttle for Residents

Commute.org provides several shuttles to and from BART and CalTrain for Brisbane residents and participating Brisbane employers.  Residents of Brisbane are eligible for a free shuttle pass by showing proof of residency at the Finance Counter in City Hall.   Click here for a current schedule.

Free Senior Shuttle

CalTrain provides a free shuttle service Monday to Friday between 10:00 AM and 4:15 PM.  The route now includes service through Mission Blue Drive at the Ridge.  For more information, please go to caltrain.com.

School Bus Routes Via SamTrans

samtrans

School bus routes that SamTrans put into place in August 2018, Route #49 and Route #24, were approved for the 2019-2020 school year!  As a reminder, SamTrans offers public transit services for the general public.  Click here for short "How to Ride?" videos.  Most importantly, parents who have children that use Samtrans service should be familiar with the rules under which the agency operates.  Please see their brochure, "Information Guide for School Administrators & Parents" concerning SamTrans onboard etiquette and safety.  Thank you for riding safely and responsibly!
