VIII. NEW BUSINESS
(2016 is the 30th annual Day in the Park and 10th annual Derby. The Park & Recreation Commission is hopeful that the commemorative nature of this year’s event will excite the community and therefore the Commission is requesting additional fund to support the event and make it extra special.)
B. Review Five-year Budget Projection and Fiscal Model
(The Council will review and discuss the assumptions associated with the City’s 5-yr fiscal model, review the impact of potential new programs and funding for unfunded liabilities, and discuss the desired goal for the City’s financial position over the next five years.)
(The Council will consider adoption of the above resolution which will result in a business license tax of $400,000 for the 2016 calendar year from liquid storage facility businesses in Brisbane.)
