Oct. 9 & 10 Large Scale Wind Event

Printer-friendly versionPrinter-friendly version

We received a call last night from PG&E indicating that due to a forecast windstorm affecting San Mateo County on Weds. Oct. 9 and Thurs. Oct. 10, an estimated 10,000 PG&E customers will have their power shut off. After listening in on a conference call at 12:30pm today, it was determined the cities of Half Moon Bay, Portola, and Woodside are within the scope of this event; Brisbane's power will not be shut off.  Needless to say, it is imperative for you to update your PG&E account information now so that you can also be notified 72 hours in advance of a Public Safety Power Shutoff.
