The Creating Energy Smart Homes event is one you won't want to miss. It takes place Wednesday, July 20, from 7:45am - 9:30am in Foster City's Recreation Center Mist Room (650 Shell Blvd., Foster City).
This informational event will provide tips and tools for contractors interested in offering home performance services to set their business apart from other remodeling, HVAC, and insulation firms.
Speakers will include experts in the energy efficiency field. Tiger Adolf from the Building Performance Institute (BPI) will discuss the value of their training and certification program. Ed Thomas, from Electric and Gas Industries Association (EGIA) will be discussing marketing tactics and strategies for operating a successful home performance business. Janelle Jacks from Build It Green (BIG) will be discussing their training programs for several credentials related to sustainability.
