Energy and Water Benchmarking Ordinance Workshop

The City of Brisbane is developing an energy and water benchmarking ordinance for local commercial buildings and is hosting a workshop for key stakeholders to learn more it and provide feedback.
Energy and water benchmarking refers to the process of measuring and tracking usage in comparison to yourself and to others. In an effort to encourage efficiencies and reduce both waste and emissions, the City of Brisbane’s ordinance seeks to meet those goals by collecting quality data and putting it into action.
The workshop will include presentations from the City and supporting contractors who are requesting feedback from key stakeholders to ensure the benchmarking ordinance is a good fit for the community and for the City’s goals. Those who own commercial buildings within the City and others impacted are highly encouraged to attend and collaborate in this process. Please consider joining the workshop and helping to spread the word to others.
