Reach for a Star 5K Race

The formerly named "Zippy 5K" is back this year as the "Reach for a Star 5K" (which also includes a Community 3K Fun Run) with a new course at Sierra Point!  The race is open to all and should prove to be a delight if you've never run before or do so on a regular basis.  The mostly flat course loops around the Sierra Point area before going along the San Francisco Bay Trail (bike path), giving participants views of the bay and possibly even some pelicans.  The 5K course is USATF certified (certification# CA15001TK) so that times run in this race would be eligible for records or official Personal Records (PRs).  Click here to register and for more information.  All proceeds from the event will benefit the schools of the Brisbane School District with support from the BEST/PTO.
