Next, log into your Google account (create one if not), then go to:

https://play.google.com/books/uploads

Upload the ePub documents from your computer into your books upload page - "Upload Files", then "select Files from your Computer". Grab the selected ePub documents.

Google will then automatically synchronize your library with your mobile device (If you are using an iPhone or an iPad, you may need to download the free Google Play Book application through iTunes). When you open up your "Play Book" application, you can now see all of the DEIR chapters you uploaded, and you can read from your mobile phone.

For Text-to-Speech on an Android Devices:

From the "Play Book" application where your DEIR chapters are located, select "Menu>More>Read Aloud" and you can have the text-to-speech application read the words from the document.

For Text-to-Speech on an iPhone/iPad:

There is a built in application on your iOSto use called "VoiceOver". Be sure your Text-to-Speech is enabled. You can do this by launching "Settings>General", scroll down to "Accessibility" and tap on "Speak Selection". Slide to "On" and adjust the "Speaking Rate".
If you do not have Google Books installed on your device, then download the free app through iTunes. The DEIR chapters that you uploaded earlier should be seen here. Tap and hold on any text until the selector tool comes up. Tap on "Select All" then "Speak".
