Update 10/12/2016 - below is the video from last night's Airport Noise Meeting that was also broadcast live on Ch. 27 and streamed on the City's website:

There was a lot of discussion at the September 15th Council Meeting regarding airplane noise under "Mayor/Council Matters" where Mayor Lentz talked about this quality of life issue.  Thus, Mayor Lentz will be holding another public meeting on Tuesday, October 11th at City Hall in the Community Meeting Room, starting at 6:30pm.  The items to be discussed include:

  • Analyzing the data from the new three temporary monitors on Kings Rd., Lipman Middle School, and Mission Blue Center, if available
  • Analyzing the FAA's feedback regarding the SSTIK, CNDEL, NIITE and 050 procedures

For those that are interested in the issue but cannot make the meeting, it will be broadcast live and archived afterwards as an update to this post as well as on the Airport Noise page.

The next SFO Aiport Community/Roundtable Technical Working Group Meeting will take place a couple days later on Thursday, October 13.  Thank you to everyone who has come to those and City Council Meetings already to share their concerns.  There is work being done still on this issue and your input is still very much needed!
