A. Receive update on Guadalupe Valley Quarry status
(At a recent meeting of the City Council, a member of the public asked what the City is doing to close the Quarry now that the ballot measure has failed. A reference was made to the policy statement in the 1994 General Plan (#275.1) that the City should "Work toward closing the Quarry and its conversion to more desirable uses." The Council requested staff to comment on the present status of the Quarry and the ability of the City to control its continued operation. The City Attor
