VIII.    PUBLIC HEARING

 

            A.  Consider approval of Water and Sewer Rate Increase for Fiscal Year 2008/09

 

(Staff recommends an increasing the average bimonthly water bill of $9.09 and $13.93 for sewer (this is a 17% increase). This increase does not apply to low-income ratepayers where no increase is recommended.  Council will also listen to public input regarding the proposed water and sewer rate increase and determine the amount of increase.)

 

IX.       NEW BUSINESS

 

A.    Receive Petition for Removal of Parking Space on Glen Park Way at Ross Way

 

(Council will hear comments from community members on petition submitted to the City requesting safety improvements at the corner of Glen Park Way and Ross Way. Three options have been offered as a solution.)
