VIII. OLD BUSINESS
(At its meeting on February 18, 2016, it was the consensus that personal cultivation of Marijuana for medical purposes should be allowed. Following that meeting, the Mayor expressed concern that following the State law on personal cultivation might open the door for large scale collectives or “grow houses” and asked staff to place this item on the agenda to confirm the Council’s direction or for Council to provide clarifying direction.)

(The purpose of this agenda item is to amend the City’s outdated weapon control regulations to clarify their scope and meaning and to conform those regulations to current state and federal law.)
