On December 12, 2018, Brisbane Mayor Madison Davis, Councilmember Karen Cunningham, Caliva CEO Dennis O'Malley, Caliva Dir. of Wholesale Logistics Brandi Cervantes, and Brisbane Chamber CEO Mitch Bull were joined by Caliva's staff to cut the ribbon to their new distribution facility located within Brisbane's Crocker Industrial Park.  Their facility is the first fully-licensed facility of its kind from San Francisco down to San Jose, where the trusted, vertically-integrated company operates a massive 95,000-square-foot cultivation facility.  Caliva's on-site nursery in San Jose produces some 50% to 60% of the dispensary's total product.  In contrast, most dispensaries in the Bay Area source their product from regional farmers.

Caliva CEO Dennis O'Malley cited Brisbane's "innovation to provide solutions for pain, sleep, and anxiety to hundreds of thousands of people in a very regulated, tested, discreet, efficient, and trusted manner."  This is Brisbane's first delivery-only retail cannabis business in town, with Caliva named the best dispensary in America by Business Insider (2016).  In September 2017, Brisbane became the first city in San Mateo County to implement an ordinance allowing recreational cannabis businesses in Brisbane.  Caliva’s Brisbane operations will expand Caliva’s delivery range northwards from the South Bay and lower Peninsula into South San Francisco and west to Pacifica.

Caliva, welcome to Brisbane, we wish you much success!
