(The 2014-2015 budget included $1.5M for thirty-four mini CIP’s. As of this staff report, $1.2M of the work is completed, and all of the work is underway.)
(This ordinance revises a section of the municipal code that has not been changed since 1981. Most of the changes are just “clean-up” wording. Other changes deal with having a signed license agreement on file, delinquent collection procedures, and commercial activities.)
(The Council will give direction to the Health and Safety Subcommittee and staff on whether further work should be done on amending the existing solicitation ordinance.)

(Ordinance No. 597, effective August 16th, permits, but doesn’t require, that the Council can appoint up to seven Planning Commissioners. This item is for the purposes of deciding whether to increase the number of Planning Commissioners but not who to appoint, if Council decides on an increase.)
