VIII.     PUBLIC HEARING
 
 
                  (This item is to simplify and clarify Zoning Ordinance procedural provisions pertaining to planning permit expirations and extensions and other procedures related to hearing and appeal deadlines and notification requirements.)
 
 
                  (The purpose of the Development Agreement is to implement the agreement between the applicant and the City, as set forth in City Council Resolution No. 2011-40, for the project to be constructed in compliance with the LEED Gold standard, with land development approvals having a term of 10 years.)
 
 IX.     NEW BUSINESS
 
            A. Oral Presentation by Sam Herzberg regarding County of San Mateo application for renewal of HCP Conservation Permit for San Bruno Mountain
 
                     (This is an information item only - There is no written report and the Council will not be taking any action.)
 
 
                     (The City Council has expressed a desire to require higher green building standards. They will consider this and give direction to staff on a possible amendment to the Ordinance.)
 
 
                     (With the recent court decision that resulted in the dissolution of Redevelopment Agencies, this item will allow the City to begin receiving Statutory Pass Through Payments which the City declined to receive in 2002 when the Redevelopment Agency’s life was extended.)
 
 
                     (For several years, the Brisbane Police Officer’s Association has explored the possibility of changing the patrol cars back to the traditional black and white. With nearly every agency having done so already, they have offered to pay for the painting of four or the six patrol vehicles. The other vehicles would be replaced with black and whites through attrition.)
