VII.     PUBLIC HEARING
 
 
                     (The purpose of this Ordinance is to make the Municipal Code consistent with applicable provisions of the recently adopted California Green Building Standards by amending provisions of the Grading Ordinance, the Water Conservation Ordinances, Construction & Demolition Debris Recycling Ordinance, and the Zoning Ordinance.)
 
VIII.    NEW BUSINESS
 
 
                     (The purpose of this agreement is to confirm the nature and amount of existing obligations owed by the Brisbane Redevelopment Agency to the City and to other parties)
 
 
                     (As part of the Governor’s proposal to abolish redevelopment agencies, unspent redevelopment housing funds would be transferred to “local housing authorities” to use for low and moderate income housing. Whether this proposal actually becomes law still remains to be seen. This agenda item is a report on the process for establishment of a potential Brisbane Housing Authority.)
 
 
                     (The SCS is a mandated regional land use/transportation strategy to achieve state-established regional greenhouse gas emission (GHG) reduction targets for vehicles. This is an informational item only.)
 
 
                     (The Open Space and Ecology Committee (OSEC) would like to use a camera operator to assist in the televising of its March 9, 2011 meeting. This meeting will be a public forum to discuss climate change and how residents within Brisbane can reduce their energy usage and lower their carbon footprint by conservation, efficiency, or using renewable energy.)
 
 
                     (The City of Brisbane will celebrate its 50th Anniversary on November 27, 1961. This report gives ideas for Council consideration.)
