A. Continue Review of 2009-2011 Budget and provide direction to staff

(Prior to adopting the budget, City Council requested a number of items be brought back for further consideration. The items requested were; an overview of meeting records including minutes and recordings, looking at the benefits of extending the Redevelopment Agency to downtown, reviewing the memberships the City has, and generally determining if there are other areas the budget could be reduced without directly impacting services received by the public.)

B. Review proposed Baylands Alternatives Process and schedule a Council Workshop for Monday, June 8, 2009

(The next phase of the alternatives work program is to refine a community alternative for the Council’s consideration. There are still several important policy and land use issues that were not fully resolved through the community process. Staff is requesting City Council workshop be scheduled for June 8, 2009 to present these issues and provide the Council the opportunity to provide direction before additional cost and effort are expended in refining the alternative. The refined alternative would then be completed based upon this input and presented to the Council for final action.)

C. Consider approving the installation of security bollards on the Crocker Park Recreation Trail

(Vehicles are able to obtain access to a remote point of the trail and dump trash in the area behind 500 Valley Drive. Staff is proposing putting up a barrier that would prevent vehicular access.)
