(Council approved the 30-unit residential project in August of 2005 subject to conditions of approval that included that prior to the issuance of the building permit, the recommendations of the geotechnical consultant shall be presented to the City Council at a public hearing to allow members of the public to comment on the final recommendations and for Council to determine whether any changes in the conditions of approval are appropriate.)

VIII.     NEW BUSINESS

(To allow for a more efficient and complete street sweeping and improve the beautification of our downtown area Council will consider a phased-in enforcement of parking restrictions during street sweeping hours on Visitacion Avenue.)

(A proposal was submitted to the City Council by a resident adjacent to the 23 Club to adopt a “quiet time” ordinance that would impose new noise levels upon the entire City during the hours of 10pm and 7 am seven days a week.  Staff is recommending that the City continue to work with the operator of the 23 Club to monitor the noise impacts from night-time entertainment and respond to impacts found to be excessive by enforcement of the existing ordinance and implementation of additional mitigation measures.)

(The guardrail in the 200 block of Kings Road appears to have suffered numerous vehicle impacts and is no longer capable of preventing a vehicle from careening over the side of it if it were struck again.  Council will consider the bids received and consider approving this supplemental appropriation)

(Various cities within the County and the County itself have been working on countywide energy strategies.  By adoption of this resolution Brisbane agrees to participate in the task force but to remain flexible to choose the programs that Brisbane wishes to participate in.)
