Lions Club Scholarship

lions logoEvery year the Brisbane Lions club awards around $30,000 to help Brisbane students.  Applicants must be a Brisbane resident for at least one year and be pursuing a post high school degree, a GED, or vocational training.  The 2019 application is available at: www.tinyurl.com/BrisbaneScholars2019.

All applications and supporting documents are due Friday, April 5th

This year, the Lions are requesting that all applications and supporting documents be submitted electronically.  Awards will be presented at the annual Scholarship Dinner to be held at Mission Blue Center in Brisbane on Tuesday, June 4, 2019 at 6pm.  Good luck to all applicants!

Did you know that 51 miles of the corridor will have electric overhead wires between San Francisco 4th and King Station and San Jose Tamien Station?  That's a lot less diesel and a lot more clean air along the Caltrain corridor!  Staying safe around these new electric overhead wires is vital, so check out Caltrain's safety video for a few easy ways to stay safe.
